Megan Binsfeld

Megan Binsfeld is a 1996 graduate of Peshtigo High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and class Salutatorian. She was actively involved in forensics, theater, and music, and was selected to attend Badger Girls State. Throughout high school, Megan balanced academics, activities, and part-time work. 


Megan continued her education at Marquette University where she studied International Business and Information Technology, with a minor in Spanish Language and Literature. She graduated cum laude from the College of Business Administration in 2000. During her time at Marquette, she studied abroad at St. Clare’s International College in Oxford, England, and was involved in AISEC, Junior Achievement, and a variety of internships and leadership opportunities. While at Marquette, Megan met her husband, Matt Binsfeld, whom she married in 2006. 

Following graduation, Megan built her career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where she spent over a decade advancing through a variety of roles. Her work included supporting global clients as a Technology Analyst, leading training and communications for large-scale ERP implementations, and later contributing to internal Human Resources initiatives. After the birth of her third child, Megan chose to step away from her professional career to focus on raising her family. 


Megan and Matt are the proud parents of four daughters: Elly, Anna, Kate, and Maddie, who are all actively involved in athletics, including hockey, basketball, soccer, and tennis. 

Megan has dedicated her time and leadership to numerous community organizations. She serves as the La Crosse Girls Director for the Coulee Region Stars youth hockey program and as a girl’s dryland coach. She is also a Board member for the La Crosse Film Academy and La Crosse Friends of International Students, serves as Treasurer of the Aquinas PTO, and supports students as a substitute teacher. 


A passionate advocate for youth, Megan has been a strong volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse for more than 15 years. She joined the Board of Directors in 2009 and continues to serve today. She was also Board President from 2021–2022. During her leadership, she helped guide the organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic while also supporting the successful opening of a new Club in Onalaska. Through her steady leadership and dedication, Megan has helped strengthen the Club’s impact and expand opportunities for the next generation.
