Margie Webster & Mark Glendenning

Mark and Margie graduated from La Crosse Central in 1981 and University of Wisconsin Madison in 1985. After getting married in summer of 1985 they moved to Chicago where Mark started work as a sales engineer for Eaton Cutler Hammer and Margie started medical school at Northwestern University Medical School. In 1988 Mark joined Inland Printing as the Chicago sales representative.   After Margie completed residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 1992, they returned to 
La Crosse where Margie joined the Internal Medicine department at Gundersen Health system and Mark continued to work in multiple roles at Inland Packaging.

 

They have two sons, Trent, wife Kerrie and children Avalee and Louis, and Brad, fiancé Natasha Siddiki. Both Trent and Brad work at Inland Packaging, Trent is a manufacturing engineering and technology manager and Brad is a strategic account representative. 

 

Mark and Margie have served at a number of community organizations and on several Boards over the years. Mark is a founding member of TUMMA – The Upper Mississippi Manufacturing Association and has partnered with local educational organizations to help promote manufacturing as an excellent career choice. Margie has been a member of the United Way Community Investment Panel for 20 years, a mobile meals volunteer for over 25 years, and after 30 years at Gundersen, Margie is semi-retired from the Internal Medicine department.

 

In their free time Mark and Margie enjoy time with family, especially their grandkids. Their dogs, Jenkins and Jed, keep them entertained and Margie takes care of her elderly horses Gent, Missy and May. Mark helps with the farm chores to keep the horses happy and well fed, and partners with his neighbor in raising cattle. 

 

Our community is truly a better place thanks to people like Mark and Margie.
