Carol Ludlow

Carol Ludlow was born on September 4, 1953. She is the youngest of three children born to Hiram and Helen Langston. Carol was raised in Winnetka, IL and graduated from New Trier High School in 1972.


After graduation, Carol attended Colorado State University in Ft. Collins where she met her future husband Reid, during her sophomore year. They were married on August 14, 1976 in Winnetka.


Carol and Reid started their cattle and land company in rural Wisconsin. Carol was very active and involved in school activities and spent many hours watching her boys, Matt and Adam, play sports at the Boys & Girls Club.


Carol joined the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors in 1998. She received the Club’s “Excellence Volunteerism” award and the “National Woman and Youth” award. Carol’s ranch has been a strong supporter for the Club’s programs and special events. In addition, she has served as a community volunteer for the United Way and served as a board member for Tri-Quest Charities.



Carol Ludlow exemplifies Volunteerism and commitment to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.
