Tim Johnson

Tom and Linda moved to La Crosse in 1972, with Tim and his sister, Dana. Tim started school in La Crosse as a first grader at State Road Elementary School. He then went on to Lincoln Middle School and graduated from Central High School in 1985. Tim and his family enjoyed their new love of the Mississippi River and spent many weekends camping on the beaches and traveling the river. His family also enjoyed fun times at Mt. La Crosse, where Tim found a love for skiing. Skiing turned into Ski Racing which carried on to college at Western State College of Colorado.

Tim received his undergraduate degree from Western State College of Colorado and received his master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. While back in La Crosse completing his MBA, Tim met his wife, Laura. They were married in 1993.

Tim began his insurance career in 1991 as a group producer for The Insurance Center in Eau Claire. In 1997, they relocated to La Crosse where he become Manager of the Employee Benefits Division. Tim is also a 1997 American College graduate with the professional designation of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow.

In January, 2002, Tim was appointed President of The Insurance Center and works to manage the sales managers and their teams in the twelve offices throughout Wisconsin and Iowa. In 2003, Tim joined the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors where he served a 3-year term offering guidance and support. He was also a volunteer coach.

Today, Tim and his wife Laura reside in Onalaska. They have three sons, Eric, Matthew and Andrew.  Together, Tim and Laura continue to have a love for the mountains, the river, Up North and anywhere warm in the winter.

Tim and Laura are very grateful for the work, purpose and results the Club delivers to our communities and appreciate the opportunity to participate and support our communities through the Club.
