Gail Cleary

Gail Cleary is a leader and philanthropist who has provided tremendous support to many organizations in the community, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.

Cleary is a Central High School graduate who went on to get a degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She is the president of Cleary Management Corporation and the Cleary-Kumm Foundation.

Gail’s civic leadership includes involvement with the Girl Scouts (on a local and national level), WWTC Foundation, Viterbo University, UWL-Foundation, Salvation Army, La Crosse County Historical Society, UFAH, Oktoberfest, American Cancer Society, and Family & Children’s Center. She has been honored with the Girl Scout National Thanks Badge and locally has received with her family the Girl Scouts of Distinction Award. She was also the 2002 WWTC Award of Excellence recipient. These are just a few of the many awards and recognitions she has received over the years.

Her support of the Club comes naturally. Her father, Roy Kumm, was one of the founders of the Club – and her husband, Russ, was inducted into the Wall of Fame in 1993.

In her free time, Gail enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Kristine and Sandra and her 5 grandchildren.
